Church History
Lanre Rex and Bukola Onasanya are the founders and lead pastors of Spirit of Life Christian Centre. With 25 and 17 years of ministry experience respectively, they are dedicated to raising believers grounded in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit. Through sound biblical teaching and discipleship, they focus on strengthening families, developing leaders, and building a vibrant church community centered on faith and purpose.
To build a people of faith and purpose through the teaching of God’s Word, discipleship and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
To raise spiritually mature believers who live by faith, are led by the Holy Spirit, walk in purpose and boldly reveal Christ in every sphere of life.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God, infallible and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe in one true and eternal God who exists in three coequal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried and resurrected, and that salvation is found through Him alone.
We believe the Holy Spirit continues His work in the Church today, empowering believers to live godly lives and walk in the power of God. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and that the gifts of the Spirit are active and available today for the building up of the Church.
We believe that healing was provided through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and is available by faith. We also believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
